Sony NEX VG10, VG20 and VG30 camcorders are known to have a weak tripod insert, this plate will provide a stable base to attach your quick release plate and make it rock solid on your tripod. They will repair broken base plates, make your good base plate even better, and will prevent any further damage to your camera. They will work with any tri-pod quick release plate or rail system. They are hard anodized aluminum, flat black in color, only 39 grams, adds very little weight to your camera. Made in America.
